Dylan has been learning about people in the community and what they do (firemen, policemen, postal person (not as in me, postal, but mail postal), etc, etc). So they did a worksheet on mom an dad, and asked the children questions about what their parents did.
Here is Dylan's worksheet.
My mom's name is: Ashley Green (woohoo!)
She is a/an: at work (right again)
She works at: Longview
Some of the things she does every day at work include:
Lane had diarrhea and he is sick. (Right on the money sweetie!)
The thing she likes best about her job is: french fries (stop the press on this one!)
My dad's name is: Daddy (wow. he got a term of endearment, I got full name, hmmm)
He is a/an: works (dang straight)
He works at: a fire truck (uh oh! not sure about this one. Philip was a little puzzled as well)
Some of the things he does every day at work include:
works hard and eats. (The child could not be more right!)
The thing he likes best about his job is: fruit snacks (I'm thinking this was done right before snack time or else she thinks we both eat a lot at work)
